MiaLa designs began over 10 years ago with their one of a kind Nordic kindness elves. Using vintage lace, scraps of fabric, yarn, and authentic woven banding from Sweden, each elf has a varying skin tone, hair, and personality. Each part is sewn and stuffed then sewed together by hand. The elves measure about 12” tall and are perfect for sitting on a windowsill or shelf year round!
In her time off from elf-making, Tonya enjoys making human sized costumes and teaching sewing lessons at the local fabric shop. She adores the charm, chill, and creativity of the Big City Bread holiday market!”
